What is the Castaic Bass Club
A group of fishermen (both men and women) who enjoy both the pure enjoyment of fishing, the competition of a small tournament held on a monthly basis and the enjoyment of monthly meeting where you can benefit from a Seminar held by a Local Pro or Guide.

Join the Castaic Bass Club
A chance to fish, have fun, learn new techniques and meet others who share your passion. Monthly meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of every month at El Torito Restaurant on The Old Road near Magic Mountain. Click to Contact us.

Where do we fish?
The Club is centered around the monthly tournaments held at local lakes: Castaic, Pyramid, Piru, and Cachuma. Included in our tournament schedule are two two-day events held at Cachuma Lake, Lake Lopez, and other lakes. Two-day events feature club sponsored group camping and a Saturday night feast.
| Guest Speakers
During our monthly meetings, held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, we invite a professional fisherman to give a presentation to the club. Past guest speakers have included pros such as Aaron Martens, Carol Martens, Rich Tauber, Bill Siemantel, Dan Warme, and Matt Newman.

Challenge Event
We also hold a “Challenge Event” where we invite other clubs from the SoCal area for a Tournament held at Castaic Lake where Castaic Bass Club provides a free BBQ for the all the other clubs. Come join us for the tournament! For more information about the Challenge Event please contact the site webmaster.

Fund Raisers
CBC is proud to be a part of the F.O.C.L. night fishing tournaments. We host the barbecue prior to the release of about 100 boats. Many members volunteer to work the fundraiser/barbeque which provides funds to assist the club with its own events. |
