Our next tournament will be at Pyramid on November 19th.
Here come the announcements!!
If you have been with the club for more than a year, you probably have a plaque with small
plates which list your club tournament accomplishments. If you have finished in 1st-4th or
caught an event big fish in any club tournament in the past year, you can have this added to
your plaque. However, you must bring in your plaque, if you have one, to the next club
meeting in order for us to get it to you at our club banquet in December. Remember, you can’
t get the plaque done by magic, if you have one, please bring it to the next club meeting!!
A huge thanks to all of those who participated in the 911 Bass club challenge at Lakes
Castaic and Pyramid. The club was once again triumphant, with Mike Carpenter and Victor
leading the way. Great job guys! This was a great event with tremendous camaraderie.
Thanks so much to Ron Licari for the ride in his new Nitro and also for buying everyone hot
dogs after the event!
Thanks also to all of those who helped out with the recent CAST event at the Lower Lake.
Many club members brought out their boats and many non boater members assisted in this
event as well, it was great to see the smiles on the faces of those kids who hooked up with
fish! Great job guys!
Banquet
As of right now, the annual club awards banquet will be held starting around 5:30pm on
Sunday, December 10th at El Chaparral buffet in Canyon Country. This is tentative, and
there should be more news on this by meeting time on Nov. 9th. If this date does not work
out, we will have it the following Sunday, December 17th. Stay tuned for more details.
Love Ride
The annual Love Ride is coming up November 12th at the Lower Lake. As always we can
use volunteers to man our fundraiser beer booth. If I have not contacted you already about
volunteering please see me at the club meeting this Thursday.
Lighted boat Parade
On Saturday, December 2nd there will be a lighted boat parade on the lower lake. This is a
chance to deck out your boat in holiday decorations and compete for a variety of prizes. For
