Lander guides Thompson to a big win Date line: Pyramid Lake October 14,
2007
Nine teams gathered on this day for an incredibly tough day of fishing. Fish were
scattered, with
Competitors reporting fish biting from the surface on down to 40 feet. The big
winners on this day were
Skeeter Pro Mike Lander, who teamed with Marcia Thompson for a creel of four
bass totaling 5.4lbs.
Great job guys!
Taking second were Brendon O’Dell and Victor Nardiello with three fish totaling 3.3
lbs. Great job on
Your second place finish! Finishing in 3rd were Michael Stern and year! Eddie Carr
with three fish totaling 3.18lbs. finishing fourth were Mike Munson and Brian
Sasahara with one fish, which was Caught by Brian-the 1.95lb event big
fish!
Next meeting
There are a couple of very important items on the agenda for the next meeting.
First off, nominations for club officers for next year took place at the last meeting,
and will be voted on at the Nov. 8th meeting. The nominations went as follows:

President’s Assistant: Eddie Carr

Second important item concerns perpetual Plaques. I know you may have already
gotten A message concerning these, but here is a Reminder. If you earned a 1st
through place at a club tournament this past
Year or caught an event big fish, then you can have that accomplishment added to
a plate on your plaque. If you have been with the club for more than a year and
already have a plaque with empty plates that need to be filled up, please bring it
to the next meeting. If you are new to the club you will receive your plaque with
high finishes at the banquet, which is scheduled for December 9th.
Don’t forget, our next tournament on November 18th at Castaic will deterimine our
Angler of the Year!
