Jeff Jue wins Angler of the Year

Castaic Lake
Jeff Jue ended the year in style, teaming up with Carl Thompson to win this event
with a five fish limit totaling 10.69lbs, led by a nice kicker of 2.97lbs. Great job
guys! And a special congratulations to Jeff, who won the hard fought title of
Angler of the Year!
Finishing a close second on this day were Mike Lander and David Sanchez with
another nice limit totaling 10.39 lbs, with a quality kicker of 3.43. Tremendous job
guys!
Finishing 3rd were Ron Licari and Victor with four fish weighing 8.01lbs. Big fish of
the event was caught by Michael Stern, a nice fish of 3.65lbs.
Upcoming events
Please don't forget about our non-points tournament to be held this Sunday at the
West Ramp. Please RSVP Mr. Iljin to let him know if you will be fishing.
Please remember, our banquet will be held at the same place as it was held last
year, El Chaparrel, 19132 Soledad Canyon Road in Santa Clarita. The event will
start at around 11am with a buffet style brunch, followed by the awarding of
plaques and tackle from our great sponsors. Please feel free to bring out a guest
to this event.
Also, if you owe any club dues it is absolutely essential that you send the money to
Linda before the banquet. We have a lot of year end expenses coming up and
need everyone to be caught up on their dues.
A huge thanks to all of those members who worked out recent club fundraiser beer
booth at the Love Ride!!
